Sylwia Kozlowska Curriculum Vitae

Sylwia Kozlowska began her education in Poland. She completed a bachelor degree at the ‘Karol Lipinski’ Academy of Music in Wroclaw (Pl) in the flute class of Prof. Grzegorz Olkiewicz. In 2006-2007 she was a student of Prof. Robert Winn in Hochschule Für Musik Köln (D). Sylwia completed a master degree in Hogeschool voor Wetenschap & Kunst in Leuven (B) under Prof. Berten D’Hollander with the result of highest distinction, maxima cum laude. Currently she is a student of Advanced Studies in Performance under Prof. Berten D’Hollander and Chamber Music Studies under Prof. Alan Weiss in Hogeschool voor Wetenschap & Kunst in Leuven, Belgium.

Sylwia participated in flute masterclasses with Andras Adorjan, Janos Balint, William Bennett, Peter Lukas Graf, Mirjam Nastasi, Jean Ferrandis, Cecilie Løken and piccolo masterclasses with Vincent Cortvrint, Thaddeus Watson and Gudrun Hinze.

Sylwia took part in many festivals as Aurora Music Stars Festival 2010 in Sweden, Europaeisches Klassikfestival-Ruhr 2009 in Germany, 2nd Belgian Flute Festival 2009, Musica Polonica Nova 2006 in Poland or Jeunesses Musicales Festival 2002 in Poland.

She received first distinction in 2nd National Flute Competition 1997 in Sieradz, Poland.
Since 2007 Sylwia is a principal flute of Polish Opera Orchestra (tours in China, Germany, Switzerland and Austria). In 2008 she recorded a CD live ‘Klassik Radio PROMS 2008’ as first principal flute of Deutsche Radio Klassik Pops Orchestra.
